You hit most of my suggestions, and some that I'm going to try. the 'shiner' (hashbrown adorned sandwich) at KKD is another classic: https://whats4lunch.wordpress.com/2008/12/31/kountry-kart-deli-philly-shiner-sandwich/ - Recommend the small.

Cafe Hot is so good!!! In its own category in town. You could do a whole other list just on bagels but Myers does a truly excellent breakfast sandwich. And thanks for the tip on Blank Page - I am surprised there's somewhere to eat I've never been still left in Chittenden County and so this is now top of my list!

Hey! We just visited the Cafe HOT for breakfast based solely on your recommendation, and it was lovely! Cute diner with adorable teeny-tiny sinks in the bathroom, super friendly staff and great food. My husband and I shared the breakfast sandwich and the avocado tostada.

This is a great list , KKD was first to come to mind not in it but alas KKD is best at 3am - I’m not sure I’ve ever had it in the morning. Another one to add & I wouldn’t drive out of the way for it , but to the initial question proposed - is Tennys. I don’t think it’sa homemade roll but is a fresh egg, American cheese , you can add bacon, and it’s just really good and cheap. If you’re in Shelburne/Charlotte on spear and Hinesburg road and hungry in the morning I would say go try it! :)

I agree with Colleen - have missed these treats. And this one was especially tasty! I too love sandwiches, particularly breakfast ones. Even living not anywhere near the northeast, I enjoyed reading these descriptions. Got me ranking my better morning sandwich options 🤔 🥪 thanks again!
