I so love getting these emails, such a great read. I'd hate Denny's for that too, raw chicken...yum.

I hear RockFire is weird and fun. Maybe it could be. Part of Barre Quarry Adventure part II or III? http://www.rockfirevt.com/

I live in Barre and you've hit a lot of the great spots here. (Rickie's is solid, although I don't visit there often enough). The quarries are great, and if you're ever back in the area, I'd recommend checking out some of the trails that wind around the town forest. Lots of neat nooks and crannies.

Hey! Keep those clip in pedals on!!! You will eventually love them! We are coming to the concert in Vermont with our twin 10 year old boys and we are all avid mountain bikers (this is their first Guster concert and they are super stoked!). We plan to make mountain biking a part of our trip. Thankful for this suggestion. We might have to try the Millstone trails.

Love this! Also highly recommend the hippie commune in Norton that was taken over by the Feds after they tricked them into selling them pot but then was saved by the state (and possibly Ben and Jerry’s?!) and made into a state forest with hippie commune remnants haphazardly sprinkled throughout (which are mostly covered in Moose poop now). And if you’re up this way already, definitely add to your list the abandoned Cold War radar station on East Mountain. (PS I played laser tag with your dad once-he’s a helluva shot!)

When you inevitably make it back to Georgia, The Tree That Owns Itself in Athens is not too far from downtown Athens and feels about right for Weird & Wonderful.
